Geez, pretty harsh are you Oldman?
That's what reference books are there for
Harsh ? Not at all.
I've not realized that the list was supposed to list only Mintmarks and not the mints themselves as the title suggests - just read it carefully See it ?? Everyone has a room for improvement !
RJW: In this context, I guess BM and MW were both used (again, I have not checked those "bibles"). The first one - on some copper coins if my memory is correct.

I guess the list is not 100% accurate.
First of all, if you mention paris and Brussels, you'll have to list Osaka and London...at least.
Second, the years for , for example, Brussels mint are not... precise. Missing patterns 1871..
But it is a good start !

For Russian medals lovers I'd highly recommend 5 volumes by Mr Diakov. It has become a real classic reference . I believe he's now finishing up volume #6. The reference beautifully printed and easy to navigate through . Both in English and Russian (English translation is somewhat sloppy in some cases).

Most likely !
However, the topic of this branch is not accurate. It should probably say something like "Mint marks on Russian coins ...." ?
thx,
