m4fan
Hey I'm new to the forums and had a ?. I am looking into buying a 1909s no vdb cent. I have met this guy before and bought quite a few times off of him. I have not seen this coin yet but he says that the "0" is not visible whatsoever. he says the rest of the coin is very visible. so just wanted to know if anyone had ever heard of a 1909 s no vdb being fake that way. thanks
ccg
My question would be how does the seller know it's 1909 and now 1919, 1929, 1939, or 1949?
ccg
It might be legit, but I'd pass on it since if you need to re-sell it down the road, it'd be very problematic.
m4fan
You have a point, never really thought about it being like that. he said you could not see it whatsoever so maybe someone wore it down so people would think it was a 1909 s . but thanks made me think about it a little more.
