    attached is an image of an unknown copper coin from russia - believed to be a novodel.

     

    can anyone help me classify this coin? ==> SEE IMAGES

     

    what i know about the coin:

     

    date: 1739

     

    mint: BM = Warsaw

     

    measured OD = ~37 mm; measured weight = 28 grams

     

    obverse - unknown crowned monogram (alexander II / anna?); also has a square st. petersburg mint C.П.Ъ stamp inset; crylic lettering around periphery.

     

    reverse - horseman w/ spear slaying dragon 1739 BM and crylic lettering....

    Obverse

    Chinese ideograms

    - Top to bottom:

    乾隆 = Qianlong, 6th emperor of the Qing dynasty (Manchu) 1735-1796.

    - Left to right:

    寶通 = Tong bao, means currency

    Lettering:

    寶通

    Reverse

    In Manchu prints, the mint name: Boo-Ciowan (Beijing)

    Lettering: ᠪᠣᠣ ᠴᡳᠣᠸᠠᠨ
