nospoons
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum and am in need of some info of what to do next. I have had 2 coins in my possession for about 10 years now. They are in pretty good condition but are a little bit dirty. The only thing I really know about coins is not to clean them, is this true?? I had these coins given to me so that they might spark my interest in coin collecting. 10 years later and I have a whopping 2 coins in my collection hahahaha! I am now at the point where I want to have them professionally valued and sell them. The 2 coins are morgan silver dollars date stamped 1893. The mint stamp is s, as I said before they are in pretty good condition. Can any of the pros out there give me a rough indication of how much they would be worth and where is the best non dodgy place in Brisbane/gold coast australia to get them valued and or sold. I also need to know the approximate cost of getting coins valued. I hope you don't mind me crashing your forum just to ask the HOW MUCH question. Any info or help would be grateful, I am aware that my coins have the potential to be worth a lot so I don't want to take them somewhere shady and get swindled also is it normal for the U.S coin faces to be upside down when flipped left to right? Australian coins are the same way up when flipped left to right. Thanks everyone.

Art1.2
If you think you have two genuine 1893S Morgan Dollars, you should take them to a reputable coin shop for evaluation. Check the ANA website for dealers near you. THEN if they believe they are genuine send them to PCGS or NGC for grading. Genuine 1893S Morgans are uncommon and quite expensive.
