elverno
While I am not a Mason I have always liked this series from my collecting period. The symbology and generally high quality engraving is interesting and beautiful. Except for the 1/2 penny Conder, which is quite common, everything that follows is at least R in a RRRR scale. At least five of the jetons that follows is RRRR; meaning less than 10 examples known. 1789 Loge des Amis de la Paix. c. 1790 Consociare Amat - relatively common and may not be Masonic 1/2 Penny Conder token, Prince of Wales elected Masonic Grand Master. 1799 Loge de la Philanthropie de Saint-Quentin. 1802 The Prince of Wales, Grand Master of the Freemasons and the Duke of Clarence. Ian
Some pretty scarce pieces you have there! Even though I have a few `masonic' items in my collection, i've managed to avoid actively pursuing masonic jetons......tempting though it has been. Of the ones you show, my favourite has to be the 1805 `Loge des Arts et l'Amitie à Louviers'.
