grimm
I just purchased this generic silver bullion round and was curious if anyone knows the company that minted it? It's hard to see in the picture, right above the scales on the reverse is an oval with "NTF" inside. I don't know if that would help in identifying it or not. Thanks for any help you can give. grimm
Well I knew it would be a long shot. But no one has a quess? Even a wild one? I have searched for every term I can think of on the net, but no luck.
jtryka
Sorry, I've never seen any round like that before.
grimm
Thanks jtryka, I was hoping that someone had run across one at some time. I will keep looking and see I stumble on the answer. What kind of bothers me about the coin is that the metal type is not present on it. Does anyone know of a way to measure the mass of a coin or the metal type to see if it matches with silver or some other metal? Jason
Conder101
Sure a specific gravity test. If it weighs one oz and it has an SG of 10.5 it's silver.
