jtryka Posted May 25, 2006 Report Share Posted May 25, 2006 I've not heard anything like a hoard (a la the CC Morgan hoard from the 1970s), but the GSA has auctions all the time, of government property as well as seized items (check out gsaauctions.gov) for a listing of upcoming auctions. They sell cars, boats, electronics, jewelry and collectibles, household and personal items, you name it. If there were a hoard like the CC Morgans, you would have been hearing about it for many months ahead of time since I would suspect they'd want to drive as much attention and bidding as possible.
