Ian
A small (5mm x 7mm) piece of silver denominated as a tetartemorion (TE monogram reverse) and showing a nice detailed laureate bust of Apollo. The scan doesn't quite pick up the detail. The coin is small and three dimensional, but is still sufficient to create some wonder at the 2,500 year old skills and art of the monayers involved. Scottishmoney
Interesting to see an actual denomination on the coin. Curiously the Bosporus Kingdom also did this, but usually putting the denomination on the coin did not come along until much later on.
