UNC/Gussfrisch RRRR Frankenhuis 1355, Ernsting WVZ93 Nine known examples with this the only example available for private collection outside of eight European museum collections. Obverse: At the foot of a crucifix a young woman and a young warrior with field gear are seated on a bench with joined hands, presumably saying goodbye before he goes off to battle. Reverse: On a plain sheild, ”Im Herrn Ist Heil P.S. 3:9” (Our Lord is Our Safety). Two angels hover to each side with a flaming heart below. Ludwig Gies was a true artist!
