Burks
My 1816 Large Cent and Barber Half Dollar like to rotate in my Dansco Type Set album. Is there any way to stop them from rotating that will not damage the coin or album?
AuldFartte
I had the same problem - and with the same coins! I took the plastic slides from an old worn out Dansco, cut one into strips of various lengths and all in a width that would fit comfortably between the slides on the "subject" Dansco, and put the strip around the coin to act as a shim. They worked rather well.
Art
Good advice AF. Half cents and large cents are particularly prone to that kind of problem. They were not manufactured to the tolerances we're used to today.
Dan769
My Barber's have a big problem with that so does my 20 center. I like your solution AF, I may have to try it.
