VF-EF. Canadian coins are graded mostly by the wear in the band of the crown. This one has 3 of the 4 sets of double jewels (:ninja: which look like a colon. It would need all 4 to be a full EF, althoough it is very close, and very nice. 1922 was the first year of the nickel 5 cent coins, and there was some variety in the striking pressure used on the pieces, as they were so much harder than the silver and copper that were the previous issues.
