LostDutchman Posted April 15, 2006 Report Share Posted April 15, 2006 could be a couple of things... either some sort of hot liquid metal got on the coin...it might have been put in a mount.. (it' hard to tell if the dark areas are raised or inset) or it could be a counterfeit with the plating coming off (but only if the dark areas are into the coin and not raised) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
