bill
Because they weight too much? I have a friend in Siberia who travels the world. She uses her dad's credit card and always seems to have money for cameras, clothes, etc. I always wondered about where the money came from. Then I learned her father was a conductor on the trnas-siberian railway (long since retired). Made me wonder even more!
Scottishmoney
Credit cards are used in Russia now as opposed to the earlier times, but they are not nearly as commonly used as in the USA and western Europe. In fact I have found that usually they could only be used in hotels, tourist and travel locations and occasionally restaurants, all else is cash.
