I have the following lot of Jefferson nickles for auction.

 

1965 SMS

1966 SMS

1967 SMS

 

1968S

1969S

1970S

 

These are very nice looking coins.....until you look at them through a magnifying glass or try to take picture. That's when the fingerprints show up. (See avatar)

 

1944D in Very Fair condition will be included as an added a bidding incentive.

Technically, I really have no idea. However, in going through Dad's stuff, he had several proof and mint sets that had been disassembled and the coins reassembled into other sets. The 1968 & 1969 coins show PR on the flip the 1970 only shows the S. The finishes look pretty much the same on all three coins, so I am assuming they proof.
