Tiffibunny Posted June 22, 2005 Report Share Posted June 22, 2005 German silver Weight: 16.54 Diam: 35.0 ordinary Rim: incised Mintage: 50000 Jubilee coins of 10 and 5 Hryvnias denomination are dedicated to the central bank of Ukraine, the only issuing centre of the state, carrying out consistent monetary policy and securing the efficient functioning of the state banking system and stability of the national monetary unit, Hryvnia. On the coin obverse between two ornamental slits there is the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the four line inscriptions: on the German silver coin: УКРАЇНА, 2001, 5, ГРИВЕНЬ and on both coins there is the depiction of the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine. On the coin reverse there is the facade depiction of the bank capital building (architects: O.Kobelev and O.Verbytskiy) above which the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine is depicted and the circular inscription: НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ БАНК УКРАЇНИ and beneath, in two lines: 10 РОКІВ.
