A possible glaring error - spot it!

First letter in legend is a "6" instead of the "b" with bar character?

The horrible mistake of "6" between "b" is a bad mistake - well done ccg! (I presume you learned a bit of cyrillic? ;) )

 

To add novelty to the situation, poltina of this era (50k) are not too common and because this was minted in Moscow mint, this adds up the value quite high.

 

I'm wondering if the bidders actually noticed this awful error. I guess they did. ;)

Very interesting variety!

 

Mikhailovich lists this 1749 Moscow poltina as GM-129 (Plate VII-20) but makes no comment on the blundered legend, even though it is easily seen in the illustrated coin.
