Not a pattern and I don't really believe it's a counterfeit or at least not one intended to circulate. I'd say more like a more modern copy. As far as being a fake, this thing is a joke. Dated 1819 but the digit style is wrong, the borders and denticals are of a style post 1836, The head style most closely resembles 1834 (not 39 - 40, shape of the nd of the bust is wrong, too rounded, and the bust ie not rotated far enough counterclockwise.) The lettering on the reverse is much smaller thn anything used on any of the large cents and the style is wrong.

Looks a lot like this coin which was sold as a counterfeit in a uscents.com sale.

 

Described as follows: "1819 Sharpness Grade: as made Net Grade: as made Counterfeit Large Cent. Antiqued reddish brown with a satiny finish. No Copy stamp but not anything like a genuine large cent. Bid at $26"
