Guest Stujoe
For a second there I thought Ebay was owning up to all the fraudulent offerings and the many scam sellers. But, it is really just about hackers and account theft. Oh well. Baby Steps.
henare
Baby Steps. exactly. i don't, however, expect ebay to get too far into that other stuff until law enforcement hammers on them a bit.
geordie582
was hijacked in that manner, and ebay just barred my account! I was left to try and sort things out myself. As my customer rating was, of course, one of the things in the account, I had to start from scratch, despite having changed my password. I am now informed I cannot 'merge' my old account with a new one I opened, until 60 days have passed. I'm sure an organisation as large as ebay could manage this sort of fraud, if the really wanted. No! I didn't open a 'phlishing' email.
