syzygy
I have been trying to stay focussed and disciplined with regard to my collecting habits. It's not always easy. I'm trying to develop the habit of deciding what I want in a set and then staying with the set until completion. Problem is, sometimes it seems like I want all the coins. Today I was doing some collection maintainence (sorting, labelling, etc...) and I came across some proof sets (1961, 1962, 1963) that I had purchased a little while ago. Here is the '62... The OGP comes with this little interesting slip (I guess toning wasn't commanding a premium back in the early '60s)... The price was fine, about $7 each ($28 after shipping and stuff). The problem is...I don't collect proof sets! But, I have to admit, the Franklins look especially nice!

tonphil1960
I know what you mean, to stay on course is difficult. Buying one or a few items is one thing, but to start buying allkinds of stuff, gets you off your main goals. I know it's tru with me. Tony
