New York International Coin Show

I really enjoy coin shows but I usually have to make the "show or coin" decision. In which case the coin almost always wins. The exception is "local" great shows like the Ocala Coin Club Show and the FUN show when it's in Orlando.

I know what you mean, especially as the number of kids I have keeps increasing :ninja: . But, this one has been planned for a while and I'm leaving the family behind. Plus, since I am escorting our club VP I get to stay at the Waldorf.

While online buying is now easy and often realiable there's still nothing as good as seeing all the coins in person. But if it costs $500 out of a $1000 budget then it doesn't make too much sense.

Its about a 5 minute walk from my office so, yes, I will be there.  Where are you coming from?

I am the same way. The only time I have travelled any distance to a coin show was when I was TDY and that was only a couple of hour drive.

Well I'll be in Manhattan Thursday-Sunday. I'll probably go to the ANS on Friday and the show most of Saturday. I think I've allready spent half (more if I win the auction lot) of my budget before even seeing a coin. Oh well, it's the first time I get to go to this show so it should be fun to see what it is like.
