LostDutchman
Wrong Planchet – Coins struck on planchets which were not intended for that denomination and are small enough to fit into the striking chamber for a larger coin. The planchets get left in the hopper when the machines dies are switched for another coin. Examples include a cent on dime planchet, quarter on nickel or dime, half dollar on cent or quarter.
