lordofthecoins
I have recently obtained a mis-printed £20 pound uncirculated note and was wondering whats your opinion. It is definitely not a fake as it has all the security features and has been confirmed by my local bank. So if any of you have any information about this note it would be greatly appreciated, especially a valuation. Here is a picture
Scottishmoney
I have recently obtained a mis-printed £20 pound uncirculated note and was wondering whats your opinion. It is definitely not a fake as it has all the security features and has been confirmed by my local bank. So if any of you have any information about this note it would be greatly appreciated, especially a valuation. Here is a picture This missed a last printing. The value is definately enhanced by the fact that HRH is quite noticeably absent from the note. I see similar but maybe a bit less dramatic errors with Scottish, usually Bank of Scotland notes from time to time going for about £200 or so. I have a feeling this is a bit pricier, it is English, and is quite a dramatic error.

ch0da
If you don't need the cash, keep it. Otherwise I'd be happy to buy it from you and I'll pay £30 in small notes... No.. Keep it, give it to your offspring. /Matthias Diego

San_Miguel98
just scanning e-bay, most prices hover around the $50 range for missing printings. here are just a few examples: indonesia $51.95 http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-UNC-Indonesia-200...1QQcmdZViewItem brazil $50.00 http://cgi.ebay.com/BRAZIL-BANKNOTE-50-REA...1QQcmdZViewItem and a totally made-up price on this next one- malaysia $333 http://cgi.ebay.com/MAJOR-ERROR-50-MALAYSI...1QQcmdZViewItem england might fetch a little more since their notes are more sought after, especially for this "high value" note with a $35.00 face value. i might have found a similar note for sale here: http://banknotes4sale.com/A-Z/GBNotes.htm ERROR BANKNOTES Bailey £20 BL24 UNC £40.00 ink missing i e-mailed the webmaster for a scan, just to make sure the notes have the same error. i'll repost when she replies.
