Mailman brought some more bills and four beautiful large cents. The pics of two are in my Large Cent collection thread. The rotated die and the repunched 1. I'll load pics of the other two tonight.

Wow!!! Thats a good day!

 

I havent had much in the mail lately but bills. Been on kinda a coin buyihng stop... But as a couple of you prolly just read your PMs... I think I just spent about $25 here and might be spendin $60 more on ebay within a couple days.

Friend in Australia sent me 10 sets of penny series for the youth at the coin club. A large penny, small penny, half penny and a two penny coin in each set. Dates vary, and grade all at VG to F. Will be great door prizes for the youth. Nice to have acquaintances in far off lands.

Got the 3 2005 Silver Proof Sets I ordered, but one is going back because the slab is cracked.

 

Oh, and this 50¢ piece made a big dent in completing my US type set:

1963 Canadian one cent, beautiful red color

1959, 1960, 1961, 1963, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1969 Canadian one cent pieces, all with great color and luster

1937, 1938, 1949 Canadian one cent pieces, nice details

1957 Canadian one cent, GREAT detail and color (never seen it before)

1953 5 Canadian cent piece

1915 5 cent silver Canadian

 

Not coins: Door clips to fix that stupid panel on my car

 

Woo-hoo, now to get the coins in some 2x2's.

And boy that woman on the Dane, she is the epitome of the word "Krone".  ;)

 

That coin sounds familiar. I wonder if it will make the rounds like the €10 note? ;)

Coming home from Sweden I had lots of great stuff waiting for me from T'buuny, a heavy one from Trantor, a few eBay purchases, etc.

 

The most recent items are the short snorter note and a :ninja: fabulous ;) box from Abish!!!!
