Guest Stujoe
1835. Very close but the wreath won me over.
Ætheling
Well as much as i hate to say it for once i didn't vote for the monarch portrait. I'm not a big fan of wreaths at the best of times, a bit plain. But man is that tone sweet! Absolutely gorgeous, i'd vote for it ten times more because i like the tone that much. Just right. You're a very lucky man GX. Not interested in selling it are you?
Emperor Oli
I voted for gxseries' because I find the dual currency aspect very interesting, sort of like the Bickford Eagle.
Art
Both great coins. I had a hard time deciding. Finally went with the portrait.
Sir Sisu
I voted for the 1 rouble. Nice white silver, and NickyII is one of the few Russian busts that I like.
UncleBobo
The Polish coin. The tone is beautiful, and the imperial seal on the reverse looks better. You could say I liked this coin zlot. Whoops! I mean a lot.
ccg
This is interesting; two simular coins! The Polish is a bit more off-the-track, though.

gxseries
Well as much as i hate to say it for once i didn't vote for the monarch portrait. I'm not a big fan of wreaths at the best of times, a bit plain. But man is that tone sweet! Absolutely gorgeous, i'd vote for it ten times more because i like the tone that much. Just right. You're a very lucky man GX. Not interested in selling it are you? Thank you very much for your compliment, Aetheling I honestly don't know what to say about this coin though... the Russian-Polish coin was actually scanned in black and white because the colors seemed to be so odd when I tried to scan it in color! So... this coin isn't completely toned completely... Here is a massive picture that I took together with the rest of my rubles... not a good photo but that's what I have only at the moment... kept the coins locked up very very far away from me... http://www.geocities.com/coinshq/4ruble_coins.jpg As you can see, the toning is just around the wreath area - now I don't know if you are going to change your opinion on that... As for the sale... no, I am not prepared to sell it anytime soon as I found several oddities with this particular coin.
tabbs
The Russian-Polish coin. Actually I like the "look" of the 1 rubel better, but those dual denomination pieces are more fascinating ...
