I've looked at a few tinnies at the Midland Coin Fair.

I would be very worried about Tin worm so I haven't pursued the subject.

Have a look at a nice Charlie 1/2d struck on good copper...heaven :ninja:

Tin worm? This is new on me.

 

Do you just mean tin corrosion, or an actual parasite? I did have a very nice tin farthing once upon a time. The edge was very corroded, but the portrait was easily VF.

Google Tin worm...its usually used in the auto trade to denote a rusting car.

Watching a prized tin farthing rust away.... :ninja: no thanks
