morgan Dollar Error Posted June 6, 2021 Report Share Posted June 6, 2021 I could use a little help on this 1882/1883 S Morgan. It appears there is a problem on the E in the E pluribus Unum. Also the Liberty in the hat, as well as the 2 in 1882 seems to be a double die. on the reverse, the S mintmark looks to be a double strike as well. The weight is good at 26. 8 grams. I just am not sure since it is on a auction site, if it is real. If it is, i would imagine even uncertified it is a $400 plus coin. If it was made in China, yeah not so much.
