geordie582
A medal surely? In which country is it legal currency?
Sir Sisu
Yes, it must be a medal. The term "coin" is too often used as a synonym for medal, token, etc. btw: I bet the designer of that medal listens to reggae.

tabbs
Yes, it must be a medal. The term "coin" is too often used as a synonym for medal, token, etc. Indeed. For example, quite a few euro collectors were startled by the news last month about a new Belgian "Asterix" coin. Many French language newspapers had printed the AFP article about the piece: "Les festivités ont démarré dès mercredi soir avec le baptême officiel de deux avions Astérix et la première frappe d'une monnaie Astérix, en présence du bourgmestre de Bruxelles, puis du ministre belge des Finances." An Asterix coin minted in the presence of the mayor of Brussels and the Belgian finance minister?? Turned out it was just a medal too ... UncleBobo
Were these "coins" the product of intelligent design?
