Beastcoins
Are they a good company for modern world commems and bullion or are there better alternatives? The Pobjoy Mint has a lot of really cool stuff: http://www.pobjoy.com/pobjoy.asp I've not done business with Panda America that I recall, but I have heard of them. --Beast
jlueke
Good, it's always helpful to compare prices between two sites. Ebay can of course also be useful for modern issues but sometimes it's nice to just avoid any hassles up front.
gxseries
Price wise, I don't know if there are any other companies that can offer decent prices like them. But yes, I did buy some coins from them at a fairly reasonable price
izzy452
I have bought from them, some silver panda's. I did find a place that had better prices on silver coins. http://www.silver-eagle-coins.com/
Ian
Are they a good company for modern world commems and bullion or are there better alternatives? I seldom buy `modern' and when I do it's because there is something special about the coin(s). In these cases I usually buy direct from the mint or their known agents. I've heard that PA are a tad pricey but you know what rumour mills are like. Being in the UK, if i were looking for that kind of stuff i'd probably go here first:- http://www.airedalecoins.com
ccg
I find airedale's prices to be rather high, often 2x issue price for current material.
gxseries
Might be because of the expensive British pounds and lame shipping fees...
ccg
I think it's just high markups.
