Burks
WOW! Simply amazing. Those are some of my most sought after coins (minus the gold piece). Every single one of those coins would be a fantastic addition to anyone's collection. *drool* CC 20 cent piece........ugggghhhhh

jtryka
Yes, I agree! I didn't have enough image space to attach the reverse photo, but I like the reverse better than the obverse. This one is a 1931, I also have a 1947 in better condition. The 1/2 Balboa is 1962, but I also have a 1982 that a friend brought back from a visit to Panama. The design hasn't changed, but it is clad just like the US half dollar as I believe they were minted here.

Sir Sisu
Wow! The gold, the gold, the gold! What a corker... she's beaut. I agree! The strange thing about it to me is that the design does not make me think USA. It looks more like Peruvian gold.
Ætheling
That's probably what attracts me more about that one! I really like the $1 gold pieces design wise, unfortuately sizewise i'm not so keen. If they had been the size of a dime or a nickel then i'd have taken to them, being the size of a silver threepence (or a tad narrower) is a bit small for my liking.
