persius
Hello I recently received what appears to be a 1941 Polish bank note with Nazi stamps on it. One of the stamps says "Jude Warschau Waffen" on it. I have not bee successful in finding information online so this brings me here to this forum. I would very much like to know what the purpose of this particular stamp was for on these notes? If somebody with proper knowledge can offer an answer, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Art1.2
Hello and welcome to CoinPeople. Can't help on your not inquiry but hopefully someone will have the info for you. There are a few groups that specialize in WWII timeframe currencies. Unfortunately I cannot remember their website offhand and didn't find it in a quick search. I'll check my books later and let you know what I find.
MMMM
Have you determined if it is real? Is it a counterfeit WW II, or is it a real banknote with a fake overprint (modern stamp)?
