globaldjs
There is a seller from China who periodically sells counterfeit 3 Rouble coins sitting in fake PCGS and NGC slabs at ebay. Currently he has two listings with fake 3 Rouble coins: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RUSSIA-1870-CNB-HI-3-ROUBLE-GOLD-COIN-PCGS-MS62/321426851188
globaldjs
The coin is obviously different from original coin slabbed by PCGS: http://www.pcgs.com/Cert/28829397/ The second listing is a fake 3R 1877 sitting in fake NGC slab: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RUSSIA-1877-CNB-HI-3-ROUBLE-GOLD-COIN-NGC-MS63-/390859186265
globaldjs
This guy already sold another coin with the same NGC number last year. Both coins & slabs are different from original coin sold at HA. Sorry, but I don't want to mention these differences I saw these fakes and they are still "nothing to worry" for experienced collectors of Russian coins. But NGC slab listed at ebay looks scary. Just notice perforation on the NGC label. The slab looks authentic to me, while coin is not.
Art1.2
Have PCGS and NGC been contacted about these?
globaldjs
Yes, I sent email to both companies. No response so far.
IMIS
Contacting e-bay seems appropriate as well.
