ikaros
Ugly Coin Competition 2014 Ugly By Nature Aging Like Mayonnaise 1970 and Before Art's 1878 UK 3d Obverse is worn to the point that the portrait shows almost no details. While not an ugly coin per se, it does fit this category nicely. vs thedeadpoint's 1941 US Half Dollar Until recently, my oldest proof. The first "big" coin I added to my collection about half a lifetime ago when I was a youngster. Why is it in this contest? Hard to see in this pic but that eagle has some unsightly toning in an area "where the sun don't shine."
