Never owned one of these before and have a question about its edge.Was it reeded? The one I have is very worn and appears to have a pattern in the middle of the edge. Art1.2 Posted March 13, 2014 Report Share Posted March 13, 2014 The Farthings of 1799-1807 were produced with diagonally grained edges. I believe that is what your photo shows.
