The real 1720 rouble should be of .700 silver. It is difficult to imagine how that crust of verdigris could have grown on silver and on both sides :shock: if not on purpose. It could be removed easily (with lemon juice or vinegar).

Any seller would do so before offering, as a clean coin would fetch $1000 more.

In my opinion this is a FAKE poorly made up to look old.
