Scottishmoney
1904 My favourite German note - no doubt because of the Wagnerian dragon on the reverse. I have heard from a collector in Germany that said these were not really released into circulation until late in WWI early 1920s and were used to pay salaries of government employees during the time. Scottishmoney
Like those Government of India notes. They cannot be very common. 20 rupees was even more than a gold Mohur, I believe a mohur was 15 rupees?
Art1.2
They are great notes. I've never seen the Government of India notes before.
