910beach Posted December 23, 2013 Report Share Posted December 23, 2013 coin people: attached is an image of an unknown copper coin from russia - believed to be a novodel. can anyone help me classify this coin? ==> SEE IMAGES what i know about the coin: date: 1739 mint: BM = Warsaw measured OD = ~37 mm; measured weight = 28 grams obverse - unknown crowned monogram (alexander II / anna?); also has a square st. petersburg mint C.П.Ъ stamp inset; crylic lettering around periphery. reverse - horseman w/ spear slaying dragon 1739 BM and crylic lettering.... thanks in advance for any / all assistance. regards, 910beach Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
