Probe strikes??

The metal it is made from is most important. The first time I have seen one of these counterfeits, I couldn't believe it wasn't the original coin until I tried to ring it. It sounded very dull. I recently found out as well, that there were some counterfeit dengas around made with a big concentration of iron. Haven't found one yet.

In that case it is similar to this one:

made of tin... If you decide to sell them, let me know. I have a small collection of fakes.

Who has this coin? Is it really tin? Can someone confirm? Looks like a mishandled novodel to me. Does not look like a forgery for circulation.

The last coin in this topic. I only assumed it was tin, no research done.

I just asked the person who posted the images to provide more info, if available.

If I hear from him, I'll post his answer here...
