Thank you all! Just a lucky find I guess. Yet to receive it in the mail. There are some EN's, but they are most probably the results of recut, as Steve mentioned rightfully. There should be some EW's of 1842, but I haven't seen the pictures yet. If I'll come by one, I'll share with you here. Cheers!

Thank you. I'll post better images once I get it. It also appears to be a W, not an upside-down M. M's generally have sides "legs" perpendicular to the surface, and the lower point of the middle part of M ("v") doesn't come down to the surface completely, usually only half way or to 2/3 length of M. Looks like it is actually a W or an upside-down V with legs :)

Well, that is not possible, because they would not have a "W" or "V" punches at the mint. Do not think EM produced any coins with Latin inscription of this size at the time. Could have been "hand cut" during the die repair... But, it could also be a die break that created this effect. Like a "B" instead of "E" on the previous design 5 kop. of 1832 and 1834. I also have a clear 5 kop K.M. of those years some place. (also a die break, of course) It is very hard to talk about such varieties, and determine the exact cause, unless the coin is at least XF+ with original field and no corrosion.
