rbethea Posted June 30, 2013 Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 This was issued in Morocco. By the Pick reference, it is P-41 issued in 1944. It is a WWII issue - probably an emergency issue. A pretty neat note and a nice image for such a small note, but this is not a particularly rare note. Punished by forced labor. All the french colonial notes did the same, and in France it was "reclusion criminelle a perpetuite", confinement.
