gxseries
It may not be very advisable - sold a couple of coins to Russia and was notified by the buyer that they haven't arrived yet after a month. Here's why: http://themoscownews.com/russia/20130409/191426435/Postal-Service-cries-for-help-as-packages-pile-up.html
EugeneG
Collapse is more or less over. Priority Mail arrives in less than a month.

ccg
An airmail package I sent two weeks before Christmas arrived 10 weeks later. I pretty much no longer ship there unless the buyer has good feedback and recognizes that arrival time is indefinite.
Scottishmoney
Can't be much worse than Canada Post - they have to be one of the slowest around.
ccg
CP experiences I find seem to vary from place to place, person to person. I seldom have packages take more than 2 weeks going to or from. I've had more USPS delays than CP delays, in fact.

extant4cell
In my experience things from Canada sometimes go by marine post, and it’s not always by specially trained whales or dolphins, but when it’s tuna that they use, letters sometimes are eaten by sharks. It can be true for Russia too...

Scottishmoney
In Russia if it didn't arrive to intended destination then it arrived to seller in bazaar. At least I can find enough people going there on a regular basis that I just have them take stuff to our family there.

constanius
I have no problems with Canada Post, I find them very good also UK & France, just my personal experience I know but based on many items(both incoming & out) over the last 5 years. STEVE MOULDING
The only problems I have *ever* had shipping - anywhere in the world - over 15 years - has been Russia. Sometimes two months to deliver airmail - and on more than one occasion, just outright lost.
extant4cell
I had 2 items never arriving from Canada and 1 item from Russia over 10 years. But, I must say that in my recent experience, apart from problems experienced in Russia with mail delays in the last 6 month, I don't have a problem buying from either country, I am just prepared to wait for up to 2 months. Sending to Russia is a lot more problematic for the same reason, the buyers need to understand that it may not arrive to them for up-to 2+ months for the reasons outside of seller's control, if they are OK with that, it's OK to send. I had similar problems with France once, with customs stopping the mail as they wanted buyer to pay tax on it, once it was paid he got the mail in 2 days. No other problems... rsraghead
I have always received my items from Russia, one lost from Canada, and four here in the USPS
ccg
And I just got informed that my most recent packaged to Russia has arrived safely... 67 days after posting.
