westphalia1
Hi. I am new to this group. Can anyone tell me how to get exact mintage quantities for commemorative coins from various world governments? For example Australia. Where would i go to find out exactly how many Royal Australian Commemorative coins were minted for 2013 (or upcoming)? I went to the Royal Australia Mint website and cannot locate this information. My question pertains to any other country that issues commemorative coins. Thanks, Dan
ccg
If not specifically listed, try contacting them. Many dealers will also indicate the mintages of non-bullion NCLT coins.
gxseries
RAM normally don't list the mintage until the end of the financial year which would be the end of June next year. It's a bit odd how business is done in Australia but the cut off date for financial reporting is the end of June instead of December. The RAM would have a report by July ish this year but that will not be a full indication of the total mintage as this does not include the mintage from July to December this year.
