Amateur_Collector1992
Good Morning, I've Been Collecting Coins For Four Years Now And One The Coins I Had In The Original Set Is Suppose To Be A Coin Which Is A "Richard II Sliver Groat" Which Was Made in The City Of London (CIVITAS EBORTA)
Art1.2
Don't know anything about these types of coins but that one looks way to good to me. Hopefully someone who would really know will be along soon.
ccg
I am not a specialist in English hammered coinage by any means (quite a greenhorn, actually), but I'm inclined to say also it's a copy on the basis of the flan / planchet appears to be too perfectly round. Also, the attribution which I presume you were provided is also incorrect - London should be Civitas London or Civitas Londinium if I remember correctly. The mint name appears to be Eboraci, which I presume is York.
Amateur_Collector1992
Oh Crap, I thought It was London, it must be one of those reproductions they sell over here, if you go into a museum or something
Amateur_Collector1992
I had this talk with my dad who was a collector and we said about taking it to our Town Museum, but know worries we thought it would be a copy, but thanks again
YeOldeCollector
Unfortunately this is a quite crude modern reproduction.
