Amateur_Collector1992
Good Evening From The UK, I'm still learning the ways of being a coin collector, since doing this for Four years now and having six albums and very much enjoying it. I still find things that bug me. A few months ago I acquired the "Money Of The World" Collection which did include the banknotes and coins. From that I have Two Fijian Coins, A 1 Cent Piece and a 2 Cent Piece Both Dated 1992. According to my 2013 Standard Catalogue Of World Coins these two coins should have mint marks - (o) - Ottawa. But I cannot see the mint mark on them, so if these two coins should have mint marks on them where should they be? Why are they not on there? if they are not on there how can I Identify that these two coins are from the Royal Canadian Mint In Ottawa? Thanks Amateur_Collector1992

ccg
IIRC, if a mintmark is denoted in brackets in the SCWC listing, it does not actually appear on the coin.
