As for me, the most colorful despot and dictator was Emperor Bokassa of the Central African Empire.

I got two brand new Japanese 2000 yen notes from the airport ATM today. Haven't scanned yet but nice circulating commems I am told

To some, particularly in the SE United States Native American tribes, this poke was a dictator who flagrantly disregarded John Marshall and the US Supreme Court and forced them at gunpoint to travel west on the "Trail of Tears":

My Cherokee ancestors went to, well sort of...

 

They took a "wrong turn" and ended up in the Republic of Texas and were given protection by their old friend, President Sam Houston.

it's nice idea and i think unique to collect these banknotes

 

i have banknotes with dictators of these contries : Iran , Iraq , Burma ( Myanmar ) Libya " Ghaddafi " , Zambia , Zaeir , Nigeria , Saudi Arabia , Vietnam , Cuba , North Korea , Thailand , Nepal , Mongolia , Tanzania , Borundi
