mobilegenie
Hi Is there anyone out there that has seen this before. I have recently come across a 1984 scottish thistle £1 circulated coin that has a perfect tiny triangle cut out on the queens head side by the ear lobe. What is this mark and does this make the coin special.
YeOldeCollector
From looking at the coin it appears to be damage done after the coin left the mint and, as such, does not make this coin special.
