veldpond1902
What do you guys think of this It has some discolouration but no wear that i can see. what would you guys grade this XF45 or AU50
Art1.2
I'd say it has a shot at XF but I'd really have to see the coin before I'd venture a real grade guess. There does appear to be some damage on the face. I'm guessing the color is caused by some old cleaning/recoloring attempts but again I'd have to see the coin in "person" to have a better feel for it. Overall it's a nice cent.
veldpond1902
It's not damaged on the face it's actually white fibre's stuck to the green which i think is caused by PVC
Art1.2
I'd guess the cent could be conserved but I don't know if it would be cost justified.
Coincrazed
It looks EF Details, PVC Damage. Nice coin anyway, I like the bold detail.
jlueke
That's one where maybe the acetone would help
Coincrazed
That's one where maybe the acetone would help I agree, acetone would clean it off nicely without destroying its color. CC
