neweden
Welcome to the forum, I like the way you used the coin as your avatar, its a nice coin I wonder if it might be roman rather than Peloponnese!!!!!
ccg
Hello! It's not Roman, and the obverse style would lead me to say that it's quite possibly modern rather than old - perhaps a copy or pseudo-ancient style piece made for use in jewelry. brfc11
british museum says its arcadian possibly from centrall greece or sicily??
veldpond1902
Also agree that it is Arcadian (greek) probably around 175-168 BC has the typical Horse design but what is strange is the horse is looking back wonder what the meaning is? I am also sure the Obverse is the head of "Zeus Lykaios" and is probably from "megalopolus" (Greek for great city) and was also the first city in arcadia.Anyway a nice find.
