1939 Canada Royal Visit medal, brilliant unc. red

Recommended Posts

This is a medal that I believe was given out to all school age children in 1939. It was to commemorate the first ever tour of Canada by the currently reigning monarch.

It is a fairly common medal, but they are virtually always AU/brown. This one is almost 100% red! Weighs 11.2g and is 33mm in diameter.

Not too sure on the value, so shoot me a PM with an offer if interested. Shipping from Canada. Thanks.

PS- sorry about the image rotation on the reverse. This photo site insists on changing the orientation even though it is correct in the original image.

Edit: some better pics, but now both are getting rotated
