Price difference in Krause catalog

Hi,

The question is regarding pricing for Olympic Soviet 10 roubles (80th) ... In Krause catalog (38 ed) UNC coins are priced higher than proof ones ($25 vs $20), even with the mintage of almost 2 times higher than proof. For 5 roubles the difference is not that big, but still there is.

What is the reason for that price difference?

Thank you.

SOME OF THE 78' GOLD OLYMPIC PCS HAVE OR DO NOT HAVE A MINTMARK OR SOME OTHER "MARK" & RUSSIAN DEALERS WILL PAY HEAVILY FOR!

Also they do pay 8%-10% over melt on those oly sets

it is indeed certain Mintmarks

I do not think that when it comes to Russian coins, Krause publication should be a catalog of choice.

And that is one thing that all of us here, in spite of any other differences of opinion we might have, will probably agree on 100%!
