silver coin
I only have one Brithish coin. I do not know any knowledge about Brithish coins. I need to study.
ccg
It's either a sixpence or a shilling. They both had the same design, the easy way to tell them apart is by size - the sixpence is about the size of the current 1 jiao pieces, while the shilling is about the size of a 1 RMB. constanius
Nice coin, it is a sixpence or 'tanner', the shilling was commonly called a 'bob'. I887 was Victoria's Golden Jubilee Year. The signature below the bust is for Joseph Edgar Boehm.
